Our Property Managers and other employees are encouraged to attend regular career development programs and to obtain industry designations. The Institute Of Real Estate Management (IREM)

IREM includes 16,000 real estate management professionals and more than 530 real estate management firms. The National Association of Realtors (NAR)

A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, The Voice for Real Estate®, the world's largest professional association. The term "REALTOR®" is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and abides by its strict Code of Ethics.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

  • Loyalty to clients;
  • Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
  • Cooperation with competitors;
  • Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

The Oregon Association of Realtors (OAR)

The Oregon Association of REALTORS (OAR) was established in 1932 to organize the real estate profession in Oregon. Today, the Association is the REALTORS' real estate advocate, a force for education and a legislative advocate for free enterprise and private property rights in Oregon.

Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR)

A buyer's representative (or buyer's agent) is an advocate for the buyer--not the seller--in a real estate transaction. Real estate laws and regulations vary from state to state but, buyer's representatives usually owe full fiduciary (legal) duties, including loyalty and confidentiality, to their buyer-clients and keep their best interest in mind.

Regional Multiple Listing Services (RMLS)

RMLS™ is the Multiple Listing Service for the Portland Metropolitan area and Lane, Douglas, Curry, Coos, Hood River, Morrow, Umatilla, Gilliam, Union, Baker and Wasco Counties in Oregon as well as Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, Pacific and Klickitat Counties in Washington. RMLS mission is to provide REALTOR members and the real estate industry with accurate and timely information and produce services that are cost effective, efficient and uniform.

RMLS provides a searchable database of homes and member contact information to the general public through this site (RMLS.com) as a service to it's members.

Multifamily Housing Association (MFHA)

Founded in 1992, the Metro Multifamily Housing Association (MMHA) proudly represents residential property-managers and vendors throughout Portland, Southern Washington, and down through the Willamette Valley to Medford. Members manage over 150,000 units in these areas and represent every service related to the industry.
